From the metal to the battery

BAAR, Switzerland – (October 15, 2019) – Blackstone Resources AG (SWX: BLS).

Have you ever wondered how that battery in your mobile or laptop was made? Of course not! You take it for granted.

Yet, without these batteries you wouldn’t be able to use either device. Well the journey started in a mine. First, battery metals need to be mined and refined: lithium, graphite, nickel, cobalt, manganese, molybdenum, rareearths to name a few.

Chemicals are used and by-products are created. It’s a complex process and the technology keeps of getting better. As a result, supply chains continue to increase in complexity and breakdowns can occur.

That is unless you’re a vertically integrated company like Blackstone Resources. We are present across the entire supply chain. Our plan is secure it and efficiently supply the world with the best battery technology in the future.
